    Busted top shock mount on your hard working YJ? Did that trap area let the rust get the best of it? We created this heavy duty rear upper shock mount unit to fix this problem. The mount is easy to install, just cut the old stock mount off, clean up the frame area, weld in the new mount and bolt up your shocks. If the frame is badly rusted, use kit ART-122 to repair that area first, then weld the replacement mount to it.

    Have you noticed the rust on the top of your frame where the upper shock mounts are? Dirt and debris gets trapped there, rusts out the steel and then allows the shock mount to tear away from the frame. We make an inexpensive Safe-T-Cap kit to fix the problem. Easy installation was our goal, just cut away the rust, slide the Safe-T-Cap over the top and weld it up. Pilot holes are provided for perfect alignment of our shock mount. Problem solved.

The frame in this area seems to trap a lot of dirt, road debris, and mud, as well as water is able to get inside the boxed frame.     1987-95 Wrangler YJ. The front frame rails at the shackle mounts start rusting from the inside out. Rust and constant pressure from the steering box unit can create fatigue in the metal, leading to stress cracks that can cause the steering to fail. These rusted out areas create an extremely unsafe condition and often lead to state safety inspection failures. Our kits are a direct replacement. The left (steering) side has frame with steering box mount and shackle mount, the right side is frame and shackle mount only. You will need to buy new leaf spring mount bushings for best results.  Instruction sheet included with package.

    Front Frame to Body Mount. This is the front body mount that attaches to the round radiator cross support. Time after time, we see the rubber mount absorbing water and slowly rusting away the center of this mount. It allows the radiator and grill area to slowly descend a bit, and makes alignment of the structure difficult.     Fits 1987-95 Wrangler YJ.  Wranglers have rubber body mounts that help isolate road noises, chassis flex and vibrations from reaching the driver. We have found these rubber mounts contribute to the rust formation on top of the steel frame to body mount. Once the rust permeates the top of the mount, it remains hidden until the major damage is done. Our frame mounts are 11 gauge steel, just like the factory, and fit as direct replacements. Typically the bolts are a problem to remove due to rust on the inside of the frame rail. When this happens, access holes are often cut unto the side to facilitate removal of these bolts. This method gives access to dirt and water, which can collect inside the rails and rust them from the inside out. This Safe-T-CapTM kit is a full length repair, it runs from trailing arm mount to trailing arm mount, and is approximately 41 in length. Instruction Sheet included with package.

    Fits 1987-95 Wrangler YJ. On YJs there is a factory body mount right above the frame at the forward rear leaf spring mounting point. The rubber bushing gets old and cracks, attracting moisture, dirt… and rust. Frame deterioration is a very common problem in this critical suspension mounting point. This unit includes the frame mount and the spring shackle mount. You will need to buy new leaf spring mount bushings for best results. This is a section that fixes the problem.  We make it easy to make it safe! Cut out the old mount, cover with the Safe-T-Cap and weld in place and you're back on the road without a full frame replacement. Available in left, right or a set.

    Rear control arm mounts frame repair. Fits 1996-2003 Jeep TJ. This is the area in front of the rear tire. The upper and lower control arm mounts both are attached to this area. In order to reach the fastening hardware for the upper control arm mount, the factory put an access hole in the frame. Consequently, this introduced an area for large quantities of dirt, mud, road salt and moisture to enter the frame. Because there were no coinciding drain holes installed, everything collects inside, and creates a rust out condition, from the inside out. Because the upper control arm mount is located on the inside of the frame rail, it۪s very difficult to see the corrosive process before it۪s too late. The frame repair kit includes both the upper and lower control arm mounts. We also added a large drain hole, to help prevent a repeat problem in the future. Also included is new upper control arm fastener hardware to make your installation easier.Available as: Left, Right or Set

    We have now made these for more than 8 years and there are over 1,000 pairs in use! Perfect for a Crawler or Jeepspeed! This is our version of the Cherokee Unirail Reinforcement plates.

    They are certainly as well made as any of the rest but have some very definite improvements to boot! Where the others stop the Cap at the floor creating a very long stress riser on the very weak floorboards, ours continue 1" onto the floor itself. Spreading out the load further and increasing the lifespan of the body.

    Another of the unique way these are made is the front and rear risers follow the Unirail into the wheelwells. The rear doesn't need too much but the front goes up 9" into the front fender at the angle of the rail after it turns into the well.

    When you install these it is the perfect time to create your own longarm kit and we have the brackets for it! If you are sticking with stock, either cutoff the leading 9" or remove and replace your link bracket after you install the rails. The last thing these do that others have chosen to ignore is make adding a skidplate easy. Weld the flat area around the crossmember and then use a jack to custom fit the bends. They are 3/16" thick and come as a pair.
